Hello & welcome!

Whether you’re feeling excited, overwhelmed, curious, nervous — or all of it at once — I’m glad you’ve found your way here.

I offer birth and postnatal doula support through pregnancy, birth and life after your baby arrives. I’m here to bring calm into the noise, offer practical care, and support you in making informed choices that feel right for you and your family.

Based in West London, I support families across London and the surrounding areas with warm, personal care. I’d love to hear from you.

Pregnancy, birth and life with a new baby can come with a lot of opinions, expectations and decisions. I don’t believe there is one right way to do any of it.

I won’t tell you what your experience should look like. I’ll listen to what matters to you, help you make sense of your options, and offer steady support that adapts to you, your baby and your family.

Because Amy By Your Side is exactly that: support beside you, not over you.

By your side.
In the way you need.

A little about me,

I’ve always been drawn to the moments where people need softness, steadiness and someone who can sit with them without rushing to fix, judge or take over.

I care about people feeling heard. I care about the quiet questions, the wobbly moments, the “is this normal?” thoughts, and the decisions that can feel much easier when someone helps you talk them through.

The way I support is warm, practical and honest. I’m not here to tell you who to be, how to birth, or what kind of parent to become. I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what’s in front of you, and walk beside you as you find your own way.

  • “From the very beginning, Amy brought such a calming, reassuring presence into what could have been an overwhelming experience. Her warmth, patience and deep understanding made me feel supported, heard and genuinely cared for. Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful to have had Amy by my side.”
